Who does what
IIUSA
Also called Invest In the USA, IIUSA Industry Forum.
The trade association of the EB-5 regional center industry, a 501(c)(6) founded in 2005 and paid for by the regional centers and service providers it speaks for.
What it decides
IIUSA says it represents more than 200 regional center members and more than 120 service provider members. Its legal name is Immigrant Investors Association, Inc., doing business as Invest In the USA, and the IRS classifies it as a business league under 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(6), so contributions to it are not tax deductible. It runs a federal political action committee, registered with the Federal Election Commission on 6 December 2022, pays outside lobbying firms to work Congress on the regional center program and disclosed that spending through the second quarter of 2026, publishes data dashboards and the Regional Center Business Journal, and hosts the EB-5 Industry Forum, held in Washington DC from 29 April to 1 May 2026. USCIS has addressed the forum in the past, and the Immigrant Investor Program Office chief's remarks for 2018, 2019 and 2020 are posted on uscis.gov, but no serving USCIS official appears on the published 2026 speaker list. Treat the event as an industry gathering, not a government one. Its dashboards on visa issuance and petition volumes are built on Department of State and USCIS figures, so read those at the source instead. The numbers that originate with IIUSA are its job creation and economic impact estimates, and they may well be sound, but they come from a body whose members sell the product. Read them as a party's submission.
