Regional center identifier

Also called Regional Center ID.

The Regional Center ID is the code USCIS assigns to a designated regional center and prints beside its name in the two public EB-5 tables, the approved centers list and the terminations list. It identifies the center on those lists, and it is none of the receipt numbers Form I-526E asks an investor to supply.

What it decides

The approved list carries three columns and no more: State, Regional Center, Regional Center ID. A center may operate in more than one state and the table is sorted by state, so one center fills several rows under a single ID; the file behind the table held 1,654 rows and 576 distinct IDs when read on 5 August 2026. Two prefixes appear, ID on the older entries and RC on the rest, and every RC number in that file begins RC22 through RC26. The terminations table sets the same identifier beside the name, the termination date and the state, covering 782 centers with no ID shared with the approved list, so the ID is the field that joins the two. What it is not is a filing number: Form I-526E asks instead for the receipt number of the approved regional center application, the receipt number of the Form I-956F, and the NCE identification number USCIS issues with the I-956F receipt notice. USCIS also disclaims the list, making no claim it is complete, timely or accurate, and saying approval is no endorsement, no guarantee of securities compliance and no reduction of investor risk.
